It's back!

I started HEY Quarterly in 2007, and it has been a great way for me to learn about on-demand printing, book layout, and( to a lesser extent) being an editor. I've really enjoyed all three years of its life, but something about the first year really speaks to me... the black and white, smaller format is endearing in some way.

The printer that I used for Volume One, lulu.com, recently started offering a new, pulpier grade of paper in a few sizes, and after putting this compilation book together I've come to really love its aesthetic. Repackaging the first four issues of HEY in this new format created a chunky, somewhat gritty book that has allowed me to fix some of the layout errors in the original issues. I didn't change much, but I did fix what were, to me, the largest issues.

This compilation is now available:

HEY Volume One
264 pages, black and white
5.5x8.5, perfect bound
featuring the work of 26 different creators
$15.00

If you like short stories, art, photography, reviews, design, and supporting cool work by interesting people, pick one up today.
