“I saw something amazing yesterday”

Like millions of people for thousands of miles we had a bit of weather last weekend. Here in Ohio we experienced all day gale force winds with 70 mph gusts all day Sunday. The result was a lot of tree damage and the loss of power, no electricity. In my local village the water was out too for a bit as the pump that charged the local water tower was also down. Welcome to pre WW I America in other words.

Recently I was having a discussion with somebody, unfortunately, about my age. It was a discussion about politics and the general state of things and it became clear to me that there is a great song form about 1969 that captured everything I wanted to say.
